Two-thirds of people are experiencing moderate to high levels of stress in the workplace, with 28% admitting that it has had an impact on their productivity.
The Champion Health study of 2,200 UK employees revealed that female workers are more likely to feel anxious (62% compared to 37% of males) and workers aged 25-34 are the most likely to experience anxiety, depression and financial stress.
Harry Bliss, CEO of Champion Health, commented on the findings, “It’s no surprise that the last two years have been extremely tough on employees and I’m really concerned about the findings of this report. What we’re seeing here is a workforce feeling the huge effects of the changes to workplaces and the heightening expectations placed upon them as individuals.
