A new survey has revealed that as a society, our priorities in life seem to be changing, as more people are focussed on quality family time than a career.
The Global Consumer Trends study found that 57% of those surveyed said that spending quality time with family and loved ones is their top priority.
This is followed by taking care of physical or mental health (55%), saving money for the future (34%) and having time to pursue hobbies and other passions (33%).
Just 16% said that wanting to earn more money was of great importance, while focussing time and energy on a career was rated by just 13%.
According to the study, changing attitudes to work and home – ultimately bought on by the pandemic – is becoming challenging for businesses.
For example, 57% of workers now want their employer to allow either part or full time working from home where possible.
