Trained finance professionals are a great resource for SMEs

AAT: ‘For many people today, the cost-of-living crisis represents the biggest financial challenge they have faced in their lives. A vital resource for anyone in these situations, is financial literacy’.

New research has shown just how beneficial it is for employers and employees having the help of a qualified finance professional; particularly during the current cost of living crisis.

The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) research found that three-quarters of finance professionals feel prepared amid rising costs, and businesses with trained accounting experts are benefitting from their expertise.

According to the report, three-quarters of those surveyed agreed that small and medium-sized businesses can especially benefit from having in-house financial experts during such challenging periods.
