A recent survey has revealed that the UK as a whole has experienced a widespread jobs boom, with a 12.2% increase in advertised job vacancies year-on-year.
The data, compiled by CV-Library, found that the top 10 cities for jobs growth include:
- Portsmouth – 35.9%
- Brighton – 33.3%
- London – 25.8%
- Bristol – 22.5%
- Sheffield – 22.2%
- Aberdeen – 20.6%
- Edinburgh – 20.3%
- Leeds – 14.7%
- Manchester – 13.8%
- Glasgow – 12.5%
Lee Biggins, founder and managing director of CV-Library said, “It’s great to see that employers across the UK are remaining positive in the face of uncertainty, and that they continued to drive their recruitment efforts in the last quarter.
