Employee health and well-being can often be an afterthought for many businesses, however, with the pandemic having such a negative impact on our lives, this will need to change.
This is according to Professor of Management Dr. Argyro Avgoustaki from ESCP Business School, who says the radical changes within employees’ environments is having an adverse effect on their mental health.
For example, from suddenly working from home, or not at all, or taking care of other family members, each individual has had to endure major upheaval both personally and professionally. This is not only detrimental to the individual, but the business impact of an unwell workforce will also be severe.
