While a fair few businesses are looking to increase the number of office days for their workers, many employees prefer to work remotely.
In fact, as many as 30% of employees say that they would turn down a job offer if it required more than three days in the office, and a third admit to worrying that their employer would increase the number of mandatory office days.
This is according to research from ClickOut Media, which also found that another 30% of workers would prefer four or five days working remotely.

The main reasons cited were to avoid the commute, spend less money on travelling and food, have more time to manage personal tasks and have fewer interruptions.
Neil Roarty, Gambling Head Analyst at ClickOut Media, commented on the findings, “This survey emphatically demonstrates that flexible, remote work is no longer a perk, it’s a core expectation.
“Businesses that cling to outdated, rigid office policies are not only risking talent acquisition, but they’re also fundamentally misreading the modern workforce.”
